But not with traditional sports psychology!

The Zone (a.k.a. Flow) is a state of ‘relaxed concentration’ which is vital if you want to perform fluid motion when you’re under pressure - whether that motion is the golf swing, a tennis back-hand, a snowboard half-pipe trick, a gymnastics balance beam routine, figure skating jumps and spins or playing a musical instrument.

However, you can’t achieve this highly sought-after state, coveted by sports-people and performing artists with the usual mental game techniques!  Why? Because it’s a transcendent experience which takes us beyond the realm of the mind, and into a Zen-like state akin to meditation.

So, how are you going to get there?

As a Samurai warrior once said – “The Way is in Training!”
